Dianna and Tiffany, You guys are great for helping out and keeping us updated! I'm glad you are able to be there for her! And praise the Lord for that homeschool group! Have her thank them for us too!!! Seriously! If I, and many others of us on this board could, we'd be there in a second to help out too! So I really appreciate them helping and supporting so well someone who is near and dear to us! Jen, we love you and are praying for your husband and you and the kids! Yes, Jen, what a blessing your hs group is! Like Deena said, I know many of us would be right there, too, if we could. But we are praying daily and waiting for any info we can get. Thanks to Tiffany and Dianne for thinking of all of us here who love and care for you! Hugs......
Update on Jack I could hug all of you right now! To my friends.... How can I put into words what it felt like as you caught me? How can I express what I saw when it was your face that helped me? How can I describe the relief when your arms took my load? How can I share the love you rained down on me? I cannot. I simply have my humble thanks. And the above poem that I wrote for you, today. update: TODAY, WEDNESDAY Jack is moving out of ICU into a regular room! Not sure of room number yet. He is stable and continuing to improve. Praise God! Also, our apartment community has allowed us to transfer our lease to a downstairs unit! And the Policemen that my husbands works alongside have donated their muscles to move us, while the ladies feed them and someone watches my babies! Saturdays accident made nothing change, God simply took the wool off my eyes to show me what I HAD! THANK YOU! JEN
Jen, Thank you for updating us all. I have been praying regularly for all of you. I hope Jack gets to come home soon and you can get settled into the new apartment. How great that they are moving you and you don't have to worry about the kids. You know you are loved when you have friends like that. You will continue to be in my prayers in the days to come. Jen, I was thinking the same thing---you now see that you have a lot of support surrounding you that you didn't even realize! And you also can see how much all of us here on Homeschool Spot love and care about you! Your poem was very, ummm, poetic! I mean that in a very positive way (I just couldn't think of another descriptive word to use)...It was so sweet! Hey yall! GREAT POEM DEENA! You rock! Ok, Jack is now on solid food and off blood products! He has been moved OUT of the ICU and into a room! The final on his injuries are Shattered pelvis (Hips), Broken Ankle and three fractured lower lumbar vertibrae. He will be out of th hospital maybe Sunday, Monday at the latest. I have to get off the computer now, because I have to pack. We are moving down stairs and the police department is moving our furniture and heavy stuff for us. So, i need to get.... THANK YOU AGAIN! Every note, message and card is another hug that just feel so fabulous. Jack asked me if I had posted to you guys. I had to giggle and say, "Uh YEA! Hello! They are asking about you, silly!"
Don't forget the praying....we're praying for him too! Ouch, poor guy! I will pray for complete recovery! What happened to the guy that hit him? Or maybe you don't know or I shouldn't ask that? If not, sorry!
