Jen, Glad to hear that Jack is home with his family. Will continue in prayer for Jack and your family.
HOpe things continue to go well for him. Hang in there. It is huge that he is coming home so fast. Love to you all. Lorna
praying this morning that all goes well with Jack's home coming and that you all are still taken care of daily for as long as you need it! I pray that the people will not stop helping just because he got to come home but that they continue as long as you need the help, not just as long as you think you need it but as long as the Lord sees the need that He would continue to provide for you and your family in this miraculous way He has been! Be blessed sister!~ T
Congratulations on bringing Jack home! Praying things will continue to go well as the healing continues!
Hey everyone! Just got my computer back online, as we are in the new apartment. I cannot ever completely explain just how grateful we are for all of the help and support that we have been given. I pray I never have the reason to pay you back, for sure! Much to say, but not as much time right now. I will most likely be on more tonight after he goes to sleep and the kids too. He us recovering but needs me for everything so long spells at the computer are out, for now. Dr Appointment in the morning and they will tell us how he is doing. HUGS to everyone!
HE'S HOME?????? WHOOOOOHOOOOOOO!!!! Praise GOD!!!! Rejoicing with you. Please keep us updated on his progress.
I'm looking forward to your update when you can get back on!!!! Let him know he's still got a whole lot of people thinking about and praying for him!!!
Jen, I'm so glad things are looking up for you. You and your family are still in our prayers and get back on when you can!!
I am so happy to hear that he is healing. What a blessed man to have you as his nurse! It is times like this that seem to bring our families closer together. I am still praying. Patty
It took too long, I agree. But I have my computer and everything up and running! Update on his condition: Jack is recovering, as far as his pelvis is concerned. However, he does have a lower spine pain and a swollen area at the base of his spine. He needs my help to do nearly everything except feed himself. He needs me for restroom activities and to help him get into his wheel chair and to clean him up and so on. But after 15 years together, I consider it an honor to do so. He was not eating a thing at the hospital and getting no sleep, so I at home I gave him Ensure bottles and made him sleep for at least 4 hours at a time and his spirits and strength are MUCH improved! Now he is eating dinner and eating breakfast with the rest of us, and he can nearly get onto the wheel chair himself. We have spent moments recalling what we remember and crying together. It is hard, but we both just say, "Yea, but your/I'm alive!" His DR Appointment: I called the random DR that was assigned to us, when we were discharged and believe it or not, the appointment setters' mother lives in our building! She agreed to get us in tomorrow and she just stopped buy with the paper work for us to fill out, so that we do not have to fill it out while waiting in the office! Can you believe this? Also, a lady who works in Jack's office, brought us her fathers car, that he is not using. to keep until Jack is able to ride in our van! I am afraid to ask what we did to deserve such blessings, because I am afraid they will realize they were helping the wrong people! The help we have received is epic and we are totally humbled by the outpouring of love and concern and how people how put themselves out for us. Please know that you have made all the difference.
Jen, God always takes care of His children, sometimes in ways we never thought imaginable. It is a blessing an honor to be able to help those in need, and I pray your support continues as long as your family needs it. Praying for Jack to be comfortable and to begin to regain his independence soon!
What a blessing, Jen.!! And YOU ARE the family that deserves this help...that is no mistake. It is humbling, and awesome, and great! It is amazing to think that this is all because GOD LOVES YOU SO MUCH!!! Isn't that a great feeling? I am so uplifted and feel the awesomeness of God, myself, just reading how this horrible, scarry situation is turning out. Romans 8:28 says "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose." When we give God the glory even in bad times, He will turn the bad into good!! How cool! Hugs to you, Jen, you are doing a great job of giving God the glory in this and being a great wife to your hubby!
