I have to face it, I am way to busy and packed with stuff in our lives. I need to give some stuff up.

I am cutting out most of the gym days and field trips this year. At least till soccer is done.

    :(

I can't do everything and I don't want to overwhelm my kids with activities. Which I am doing.

Music class is a must and gymnastics is a desire of theirs. So those I will not cut out.

Last year I cut out Wed. Church service and did the same this year. Just too much.

And since we live and breathe Jesus everyday, and have Sunday church and Sunday school, I figure Wed. can be cut out.

As of now, we do not need to cut anything out. Ems dance classes, piano, and choir do not take up a lot of time. We attend church functions that probably take up more time than Ems activities. But these are a part of our lives so I really don't consider them as extra.

I should probably cut out homeschoolspot.
and reading. especially reading about women with interesting lives.

Laundry. I definitly need to cut out laundry.

I took an easy class this fall, because of the new homeschool thing. Good thing too.

ds decided on his own to not do soccer, so to be able to concentrate on Dance.
NDI (national dance institute) is for 3 weeks, every day starting Wed. That will be awful...but it is only for 3 weeks.
After that, may do youth group on Thursdays...but Survivor, the only show we watch is on...and with no dvr (we live in the dark ages) maybe not.

I have to admit, dd dropping both volleyball and basketball this year has been a blessing. I hope she doesn't regret it.

gns...I'm cutting out dishes! rofl! How about that? You have me rofl. :p

I'm actually trying to add. We have no group or extras right now so I'm in the process of trying to find and add them to our schedule.
I am going to go slow though because already I can think of so many things to add:
    scouts (boys and girls)
    karate/ dance
    4H/ p.e. w/group
    piano lessons,
lol...I have my sites set way too high. I'm just starting out with one thing until we get used to it. Right now trying to add the p.e. group and the 4H type stuff.

my mother-in-law bless helps me with activities.
She takes my older dd and I take the younger ones.

I do rotate sctivites per semester. so one semster they may do gymnestic the next semster they swim.

    that helps a little.

I've already cut out laundry, as evidenced by the pile growing over the sides of all the hampers.

Dishes have been assigned to dd12 and she is starting to get the hang of it.

I'm still trying to balance how to get the academics done, but she does dance and karate and we count them both as p.e.
