Hey all, Well I am not a believer in quick weight loss but does anyone know how to truly loose about 10-12 pounds in about 12 days? My husband went back in the Air Force and he has to weigh in but has to shed a few pounds. Any advice would be great!! Thanks Lisa
No he does not play sports.. Plus it is so cold here. He has been on the bowfelx treadclimber, so that is one thing he is doing...
Not the healthiest route but my hubby (Active Army) has used that 48 miracle diet drink before....basically detoxes you. You drink nothing but this stuff diluted for 48 hours. He usually has a bowl of healthy cereal mid-way thru though. He hasn't dropped 12 pounds but he has dropped 6-8 before. Probably depends on the person. He has also used the Atkins diet....eats nothing but meat and cheese usually....he's too lazy to read the book and figure out better things. Maybe it's called the Hollywood Miracle diet....can't remember. I know he's bought it at GNC type places before....been awhile. Obviously these are not long term solutions but have worked for my hubby (before weigh-ins or to kick start him). When he has a job where PT is rare, he tends to overeat from the candy machine and then has to "fix it" before his next PT test. Rhonda C.
Watch out for anything that will build muscle. That will add weight in the beginning. To drop weight quickly (and I do mean quickly), look into the lemonade cleanse. I've knows men to drop 15+ in a week or so.
http://www.48hourdiet.com/ Found the website. Not endorsing it but its what my hubby has used for similar issue...we didn't order it online though. Rhonda
My dh has lost 10-12 lbs. very quickly on the Alabama Cardiac Diet (http://www.cartercountymarket.com/html/cardiac.html). I do not think it's the best way to go long-term, but it got him motivated to lose more (up to 32 now).
Thanks ladies, I am going to pull each one up and let him chose. I know, I know he really should do it the right way but I think this will get him going. We both started working out 2 weeks ago so we are on our way to making changes.. THANK YOU!!!
