Well the van started giving us problems. It will be worked on Saturday plus again on Monday. What a mess!!! The CV joint and the breaks---When it rains it pours I guess at least in my home. Wonder what more God thinks he needs to do to get our attention?? Please say a little prayer for us this weekend. Lorna
Lorna, I'm sorry you're dealing with this, too. Our cars always seem to both crap out at the same time. They're 10 and 12 years old, though.
Oh Lorna...I am so sorry. Do you have a church family that you can get any help from from? I wish we were closer....I don't know what I could do, but I could help in someway!! Praying for you!
Too bad you don't live closer. Hubby's a mechanic. Luckily when something major happens to ours he can fix it. But it's like pulling teeth to get him to do the maintainace work. I have a leak in my van right now and he will NOT fix it. UGH!! I'm about to take it in to his shop and have someone else fix it. He's going to get mad but hey, it has to be done. It's all I have to get around in. Mine is also about 10 years old. How I would LOVE to have a newer vehicle but I'd rather deal with this one than have payments. Prayers going up for you and your family. God Bless you, Angela
Mine is older too and we still do have a payment on it. When it rains it pours it seems. Life is just so hard. Poor little ds cries at night and doesn't sleep well anymore. I think due to the pressure of our lives. Last night he cried about the possiblity of going to ps next year. That is so hard to see him go thru. I wish I could stop all this mess and make dh better so our life could get back to normal. If your husband can get up and go to work today give him a huge hug for it and thank God above. We all seem to take that for granted until they can't work anymore. I sure wish I could see the future and figure out what to do with it. Lorna
Lorna, I thank God and my dh for having a job and him getting up every morning no matter how much he doesn't want to. Give your ds a big hug for me too. It has to be hard to see him feel the pressure, too. Jeremiah 33:3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.
We're praying here too! I wish I could make it all go away, and you'd be able to live a "normal" life! Keep your chin up!
