“Good news is that I truly out did myself this year with my Christmas decorations. The bad news is that I had to take him down after two days. I had more people come screaming up to my house than ever. Great stories. But two things made me take it down. First, the cops advised me that it would cause traffic accidents as they almost wrecked when they drove by. Second, a 55 year old lady grabbed the 75 pound ladder almost killed herself putting it against my house and didn’t realize that it was fake until she climbed to the top (she was not happy). By the way, she was one of the many people who attempted to do that. My yard couldn’t take it either. I have more than a few tire tracks where people literally drove up my yard.”
OMG.. that is too funny!!! I have seen Santa hanging from roofs before, but never the decorator.. I LOVE it!!! Too bad you had to take him down!!
hahaha.. have to add, do they really think a person could hang from a gutter? Also, I bet that was much easier and faster than getting all those lights up.

WOW..that is hysterical. At first I was thinking, "wow...she must have a lot of insurance on her husband to take a picture instead of helping him!" LOL. I didn't realize it was fake. It is VERY funny! If you could find a way to make it less real..you should keep it up. Like if it was Santa...or I don't know...something.
I am grinning ear to ear reading your replies AND feeling absolutely terrible because it isn't anyone I know. I copied and pasted it from a forward e-mail from our neighbor. I checked all the spelling, but didn't realize the language was in the First Person. It didn't dawn on me. I am really sorry about that. Please forgive me. I am glad you all are enjoying it. But, I am not the one whose yard was tore up or made the 55 year old lady mad.
I would have been that 55 year old lady trying to help him down. I would have probably fallen off the ladder laughing when I found out it was fake. I love it!!! I was wondering how I could do that to my house, but couldn't figure out a way. If I was drinking Pepsi, it would have been all over my computer, because I would have spit it out laughing so hard. Too bad it wasn't anyone you knew.
Hahaha.. I had to read the red part 3 times before it dawned on me that you are gearing up for April Fools Day a bit early! I still LOVE it, and think it's a fabulous idea!
