The baby is here!!!!!!

I got the call around 1 am...........

It's a GIRL!!!!!!

Both Mommy and Baby (and Daddy too!) are doing fine.
The baby was born around 11:10 last night. She weighed 7 pounds, 14 ounces. As of Rod's call, they still hadn't decided/agreed on a name.

There were no complications with the blood clots- praise God!

I will let you know if I hear anything more. Otherwise, I'm sure Crystal will have birth stories to share when she gets home!

Wooo!!!!!!! We've Got Us A Baby!!!!!! Yaaaaahhhhhhhh!!!!!!

 

Tracy (hubby) had a wonderful birthday present then (I was kind of hoping she would deliver today so I could share the thrill of the birthday girl on my birthday).

Oh Heidi told me yesterday they were considering Grace as a middle name

Of course, they told me that about Ashley as well- and she certainly isn't a boy! LOL

 

There's that saying about the heartbeat, etc. indicating if it's a boy or girl. I asked the midwife about that with Phillip. She grinned, and said it's accurate about 50% of the time......

Man, last Spring all the moms at Jeannie's classes were pregnant, now it's happening here!!
Count me in the club that's happy for you guys, but relieved it's not me. This old gray mare ain't what she used to be.
