Hubby will have surgery again this Thursday on his back at 1:45 pm. I would appreicate any and all prayers. Hugs, Lorna
I know you're looking forward to this with great hope. We have it on our calendar and are praying that the operation will be a total success.
I didn't sleep well last night. I guess worried a little. Maybe! Don't want to get my hopes up alot for today but we do need a miracle. God can give us one!!! He will go into surgery after lunch today. I will try to get back on later to let you know how it goes. Lorna
Lorna, thinking of you all. I will try to call tonight and see how things are going. Hang in there girl they got things got to change soon for you all enough is enough.
Yes, I have been thinking and praying for you all today, too. Trusting all went well and Scott will be feeling good soon!
I have been, too. His operation will be over by now, so I'm praying his coming back to consciousness will be easy and that he won't be too sore. Of course, the big thing is being all fixed up, and I'm praying for that most of all!
Hey All, Thanks again for the prayers and thoughts. He is doing fair today. Sore mostly. It was alot easier than the last surgery for sure and we did slept fairly well too. He got up twice I think. Once he sat in the recliner for a while. He did pass out during his surgery and they had to get an iv into him and get him stablized but God worked it out. Then sediate him some. You are susposed to be totally awake for the surgery so you can tell them where it hurts the most as he touches places. Anyway I think it was pretty bad at that point. They came out to talk with me about it at that point. I didn't get upset then due to knowing it seems to be the way of luck goes this year. Something always seems to go wrong with him. Anyway God held me together just fine. I had taken a bible study with me and I continued to work on it. The surgery took about 2 hours total. Then I brought him home. He is to lay around for 24 hours doing nothing at all. I think he is doing fairly well so far. The surgery can take up to a month to show improvements signs so we have to wait to see what happens and if it worked. I do praise God for it being so much easier than the old fashioned knife surgery. I would recommend folks trying lazer first for sure. I will update you as to if it is helping as we see signs. He does have to keep a pain/cramp journal for two weeks. We go back to the doctor on the 25 of May. Thanks again girls, Lorna
