Does anyone have a site they use for spelling words? I want to do about 5 a week with my dd who is 5. I'm thinking I'll probably need 2nd or 3rd grade words though because she reads so much.

    Thanks!
    Amy

When my children were little, I used the dolch words for spelling words. Those are words most commonly used in writing. You can go to Dolch words/enchanted learning and get them.

There are a lot of sites that have commonly misspelled words. I use some of these while making up Ems lists. I also take words out of spelling books. You can google spelling words for grade? and you will come up with a lot of words. This is what I also do.
