And many small businesses are having to drastically reduce inventory and/or shut their doors. There are some really good prices out there and buying from them will help them out and help us out too. . .so I'm wondering if this can be the thread where we list good sales? I know. . .

Hands of a Child is reducing their inventory and has lots of kits for cheap. . .

Creation Sensation is selling science kits for cheap

Hope Chest Legacy is also selling kits and bundles for really good prices.

Anyone else know of any good sales?

I don't know any other than what you listed. I got the Hope Legacy e-mail earlier. Didn't know about the Creation Sensation one though so now I need to hop over there to take a look....thanks!

The HOAC site says 35% off, but the prices listed on the kits reflect no change. Is there are code or something that I'm missing?

I noticed that too and honestly, I don't shop there enough to know the answer. ;-) I looked thinking that perhaps I might buy but I just don't have time for another lapbook.

But the ladies that run HOAC are super duper friendly and so you could just ask them.

Once you put it in your cart it will give you the discount over at HOAC

I need to wait until I get paid by DH next week before I can order more extras. I got my DD a redwork neddle kit from Hope Chest - and I'd like to get some more stuff as I would rather her do stuff like that than sit on the computer <sigh> Wish it was that easy to have handiwork for boys.

We have recently discovered the wonders of boy scout kits. You actually don't have to be in boy scouts to order one but they are nice. We did a rocket for the rocket derby and it has super soft wood that he just sanded. The paint obviously requires parent supervision but the sanding part was minimal. The kit was like $5 or something.

Our AC Moore also has things that I would consider gender neutral. But yes--keeping off the computer is much easier said than done.
