Nothing like a good morning wake up call to come here and see someone with nothing better to do with their time than spam foolishness via the creation of at least 11 threads between two subforums. Even more frustrating is when you can't report those threads for review because you have "insufficient privelege" to access the page that will allow you to report it.

Someone (the spammer) needs to get a life and move along............

I got 'em. Weird that you got an "insufficient privilege" page, though. I've never seen that before. :?

I made a screen print of what I get in the message but I can't add it into the post so I'll copy and paste the message

That's very weird! You should send it to Amanda, I guess.

Got the rest of his posts just now, but I'm sick and headed to the doctor. I'll leave the rest to ABall this morning.

There is one in this subforum now, too. We've been having quite a few of them lately!

well I do hope Amanda can remove them but keep reporting them and as soon as I see them I just pull up all the posts from that person and get rid of them...... takes all of about 2 seconds. I like feeling useful again. ........ though I know its been a pain in the butt to have to see all the spam.

When I tried to use the little red report button, I get redirected to another page and the message I quoted is what it tells me. I had noticed it before but didn't pay a lot of attention to it I guess.

Or block the IP address to prevent them from creating another account to do the same thing under a different name

No, he wouldn't. Each time they're hidden, it resets his number of posts back to 0. :)

Only an admin can do that... not a moderator.

He's back in the Christian, Homeschooling and Homeschooling in the News subforums playing his games again. Dude seriously needs to get a life.

I didn't think it was a moderator who could block the IP.... knew it was something Amanda would have to consider.... wishful thinking

There are 39 posts as of this morning. I reported some but don't have time to go through the whole site now.

You all do realize that "he" can read this and is probably being fueled by our attention to "him".
