Pround mummy moment.

    Sorry ladies but I have to gloat somewhere & I don't want to turn dd's head. :p My youngest has just cleaned up at the local art exhibition. She is the overall winner. That's nice but you know what made me super happy? I looked at all the kiddies paintings & they were same/same. Everyone had obviously copied off each other in class or the teacher had told them what to paint so dd's really stood out for being original in concept, design & execution. I love homeschooling!

    That's just fabulous! How wonderful it is to have a child who can truly think, not just process information.

    Ouch! I'm a technological moron. I couldn't even get the avatar I wanted posted in here but when/if we get youngest's artwork back I promise to try & post. My older girl is 17 (& probably knows how ) but my artist is just 11.

    Thank you! I almost feel like I painted the stuff myself. I am sooo stoked with her...just as well because she can be a total pain when she doesn't like something.

    That is so cool that she didn't follow the crowd. I love kids who can think for themselves. I know you are proud. Hope we can see the pictures soon. Beth

    Yay... I love that our kids are learning to be themselves not a carbon copy of the next kid!
