Hi all, I am not sure if anyone remember me saying my husband is going back in the Air Force. Well we just got word he has to go out of the country for 6 months. (don't know where and I cannot know as of right now I was told. It won't be for a few months away but please pray for our family. We have not told the kids yet and I need it for my nerves..
    Thank you
    Lisa

Hang in there. The first deployment/separation is the worst....but, YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!

One word of advice (if that's OK).....be as postive as you can with the kiddos....Daddy's working hard....Daddy's helping the AF and the people (where ever he's going), etc. If you show how proud you are of him, that'll transfer to them

Not that you have to be the super mom of the century, it's ok to be honest that things will be different and everyone will have more things to handle, etc.........but focusing on the good things that Daddy will be doing really helps kids focus on the good things they can do in his absence.

(Unfortunately, I have WAY TOO MUCH experience with these conversations:roll:)

Thank you, That is what I needed to hear. We did find out it will not be until Dec. So we are not going to tell the kids yet. You know I feel shocked some since we have been in (17 years) He has never had to go anywhere. I know God is in control and all will work out. It was just a shock to hear. Thank you ladies..
