Hey early risers (or night owls!)--
If you think of it, will you please say a prayer that my dh will get to work safely in the morning? We are having a lot of ice and the schools here are closed, but they pretty much never close the base. He tried to go to the gym this evening, but he had to turn around because his wipers were sticking and it was too hard to see. So of course now I am all nervous! I am hoping and praying that everyone in the area takes it slow!
    Thanks!!

Praying here for your dh. Let us know how he does. I have heard it is just terrible with all the ice and bad weather. I am guessing you all are safe and tucked away in your home! And you still have power! That is great news!

    Be safe!

Praying for your husband and everyone having to drive on the ice. We have terrible fog this morning so I am praying my son drives safely to school with his brother.

He woke me up about 2:30 and said we had no power. I'm not sure why he needed to wake me up for that! Anyway, we have it back now and he is going to go in in a little while. Hopefully by then the roads will be a little more cleared off. Thanks, ladies!!

I just talked to him (what part of CALL ME WHEN YOU GET THERE! do men not understand??) and he said the roads were slick but he got there okay. We never put the cars in the garage, but last night he scraped his car out and dried it off and put it inside. And then the power went off, rendering our garage door useless. I am sure there is a way to get it up, but we are unskilled with that stuff. And our garage door is so cranky we hate to mass with it. So much for those good intentions!
