I found out a few days ago that our little local zoo closed. Not many people have been successful trying to contact them. Do you think they would have to refund all of us who bought annual passes? I'm thinking it might just be considered a contribution and we'd be out of luck. It stinks because the kids have been asking to go to the zoo and I promised them we'd be going weekly after the ps kids go back to school.
That stinks Did you purchase a membership or annual passes? If they closed due to lack of funds I'm not sure if you could get any money back, but it doesn't hurt to ask.
Are you able to drive over to the zoo to see if they will refund the money? I am going to assume that you wouldn't receive a refund if they are closing due to a lack money.
They say it's not because of lack of money. The man that owns it is in his 80's and says he just can't do it anymore. I know people have been there and tried calling, but I don't think anyone has been successful yet.
