I purchased MOH for next year and I am trying to get an idea of how I want to do it to fit our family. At first thought I didn't think it was enough. Now that I started pairing it withliterature, bible & science I am begining to think we will need more than one year to finish this book.
Anyone take more than a year?

Book one took my family 1 1/2 year. Book Two took one year, because Rachael was part of a co-op, and we followed their schedule. In a way it was good, in a way it wasn't. I think part of the beauty of MOH is that it's flexible to where you can do as little or as much as you want.

We used SOTW with our own Bible Curriculum. We took TWO years for the Ancient studies! Go with the flow and go on tangents if your kids are interested in something!

We're doing the same thing; ds9 is - right this moment - working on Lesson 14. We started in Feb, are supplementing with literature and bible and hands-on projects (some are in the book, and we're adding lapbooks and things like that to help solidify the info).

We'll be taking at least a year and a half to go through it; I'm thinking that we'll finish next summer sometime.
