That is awesome!! We used to have horses, but when my parents got divorced they sold them. I recently found one, it was weird, I was driving to a friends new house and there she was! Amazing...

...but I am sooo scared of horses! I have had tons of good experiences, but a few not so good. My horse had a baby and that baby has ALWAYS hated me for some reason. I thought I'd try to become friendly with her, so I would go and brush her and feed her carrots and stuff, but she'd pin me against the fence. My sister got kicked in the head and was life flighted and I've been bucked off one too many times.

That is enough to scare you away. We would motocross race with another family and their daughter got critically hurt. She never recovered completely. We haven't raced since. Sort of out of respect and also because my son needed to put more time & energy into school. But it does certainly change your outlook on life. I hope that your sister is fine.

Ever since I was thrown this past Memorial Day, I've been terrified. It was bad enough that I fractured my hip (hairline, and short, but still....). But I've been forcing myself to ride/play ever since. It hasn't been easy, but for me, it's an issue of Spiritual warfare. I refuse to allow the devil to keep me from my passion because of fear.

And this old guy is the perfect horse to help me get back my confidence. He's so laid back that his idea of getting spooked is to widen his eyes until they about pop out.
