Some of you may remember Babyboy. For those that don't, he is our unofficial grandson. We started keeping him while his parents worked when he was a tiny baby. He is totally part of our family! He is nine years old now and in third grade. His mom is white and his dad is black. You have to know that first. Okay, he was at school one day and two of his friends ran over to him. One reached over and pulled his tee shirt up and said, "See there! I told you he wasn't half black and half white!" He told his mom about it and we all cracked up. I don't know what those little boys thought! Kids are so funny.
Its not a good one as its like dividing the people. any ways we are the humans there should be any kind of separation between them.
Welcome to the forum, Deenamathew! The joke is on our use of language, and how kids sometimes take a figurative expression literally. The way we describe our ancestry/genetics in terms of half this and half that must create a very funny image in a child's mind.
