I need to buy a copy of Hillyer's A Child's History of the World and I dont know where to find one! Help!
I got mine from e-bay and it wasn't terribly expensive either. They aren't very easy to find, just keep looking. Also try www.homeschoolclassifieds.com and use the search function. Have you tried your library? or inter-library loan? Good luck!
Now I am not sure on how sensitive you are about how the information is present to your child. If you are make sure you get the version from Sonlight that is revised. The older edition it written in the way of the times then. Like Asians are considered yellow people and so on. So, many people do not like the older unrevised edition for things like that. Now I see it as if you are going to use an older book you need to take in consideration what era it was written in and how people used to think and be. We are also going to use this book (new edition) this year. I am excited about it.
I found the same version on Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/Childs-Histor...0286/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1294792908&sr=8-5
