A friend plans on pulling her high schooler out of ps soon. She needs low-cost and easy to use curriculum. This is a first time homeschooling family so it would probably helped to have a boxed curriculum on the computer or workbooks. TIA!
Umm....not sure. I guess I always just plan for college, but our local school is not advanced. I think right now any suggestions would do. At first I suggested CLE workbooks, but they prefer non-religious material.

Man, those options are pretty expensive since we don't have online high school available in our state.

These are individual sites, not all-inclusive sets, but they're free and most are college-prep: http://homeschoolspot.com/showthread.php?p=393876&posted=1#post393876
I'll pass those links on to her. Just wish I had better news on price. Does Khan Academy have any kind of scope and sequence? or would she need to put together a list of goals to meet for each class?
I have pulled some stuff from this site. Some links are better than others, but there are some useful things there.
