Yesterday dh and I closed on the sale of our home, purchased the lot where we will be building our new home and then signed the building plans and gave the downpayment to start the ball rolling building our new home... The hole will be dug and the site prepared this month...brrrrrr...we asked the Lord to help knowing the temps have been what they were and today we have about 10 inches of snow insulating the ground...it won't freeze now. What a nice floor plan. I love the washer and dryer in the area of the bedrooms. That is where ours is, you will love it. Let us know how it is coming along. Take lots of pics, you will be glad you did. I am so happy for you.

Kris, Ava Rose, crazymama, and Flowerchild...Thank each of you for rejoicing with me!!! I appreciate your comments, and praises to God above!! Ohio Grandma...thank you. I will take photos, it is fun to share. Deena...thank you, too. God answered a prayer of my heart and the buyers are letting us rent back their home (my home...?...!...? ) till our new home is built and ready for us to move in. The folks who bought it will be using it as a vacation home for themselves and their kids and grandkids. Someplace to go and hunt and ride 4 wheelers and hang out together. So, on that Friday I closed on the house I did get to come back to the very same one and lay my head down to sleep. I am very, very thankful for that blessing God gave to my family and I. And that is what it is, truly a blessing from Him.
Yes it is! God is just so amazing! He works in each of our lives in the best way---if we only realized how much, we'd be amazed! Enjoy your "old" home while you wait for the new one! I pray that things go well with the building of your new home, and that things will stay on track, and it will get done on time!
