You know what I like about this one? It's a combo notebook/lapbook thing. I printed out the pages - used my handy dandy comb binding thingy and made books for each of them. Then printed out the parts they do on different colored pieces of paper. We did 2 pages today - we got started really late with school - but plan on doing more tomorrow if I can get my behind in gear. BUT - they look pretty cool and I'm thrilled with it. Living in DC honestly I am tired of all the talk even though it IS history but I'm at the point I can't wait for it to all be over.... <sigh>
Jen, thanks so much for the info. I love it, it's printed and ready to go for tomorrow. Yes, my 8th grader is going to do this. I rock in a rocking chair (grandma that I am), but you ROCK!!!!
We may end up using this at another time, as we have so many things going on right now, still working through our windter and snow lap pages so... But whos to say we HAVE to use it only tomorrow, eh?
I didn't double check the link but if they're the 2 freebies from Currclick, the worksheet from the Teacherbag freebie has a small error on the first worksheet. The answer key has his age as 45 but he's really 47 (I double checked online just to be sure).
