So this is our first week of homeschooling. My daughter just turned 6 and we started her first grade curriculum, we're following the classical model outlined in "A Well Trained Mind". We did some kindergarten stuff off and on but nothing consistently. So today after three days of Math, spelling, writing, grammar, history, science, and reading my daughter turned to me and do you know what she said? "Mommy, this is too easy for me. You need to find something more advanced." Her words, not mine. I love homeschooling.
LOL! Sounds like you have a smart cookie there! Maybe try advancing a chapter or two and see how she does with that? (Before investing in something else...just a thought!) Glad you're off to a great start!
