LOL Yes...truly, my eye needs prayer! Last Friday we as a family went down to my hubby's favorite eye doc in the largest mall east of the mississip. I got my eyes checked and found out i have scar tissue on my right eye from some sort of injury or infection (though I'm not positive when it occurred). The blood vessels are growing which means it's "active" and that they could evenutally grow into my line of vision. (it hasn't yet, and the doc just wants to see me in a year to see if there's more growth). Anyway, he had lots of trouble getting a lens to set properly on that eye - I went thru three at the office. WELL...the last one I said, I'll wait it out and see if it self adjusts. It hasn't and now I have to go back to see if he can refit that eye...nevermind that he already ordered me a years supply of the bad lens AND ordered a new pair of glasses...so both would have to be changed. ANYWAY....it's an hour away and I have week where I'm not going to make it back down until Friday (hubby's off from work)...so I have to live w/ this lens...see if he can stop the order and hope that it doesn't cost us a ton of money to do this!!! I would appreciate prayer. I'd love for this lens to self adjust, but I just don't think that's going to happen. and it's giving me a headache (I have an old lens I can put in, but frankly, the prescript is so bad that it's blurry so my choice is blurry or double vision!). So...then I need prayer that the orders could be stopped until we could get this right...which won't be till Friday. AND Friday is a heck of a day as we have our service project day that day and are expected to join in... (visiting the nursing home, singing carols and doing crafts w/ the residents). My kids LOVE service project day - kinda hoping that if I can't take the kids, that hubby would...but it would be all moms and I'm not sure he would do it. Sigh. Okay, enough complaining. Praying here, Krista! I went through something similar this summer and had to go back every couple of weeks for 2 or 3 months while the infection cleared. What a pain!!
Prayers here, too. I have been having trouble with my eyes recently. Very sensitive and red and burning off and on.....now you got me thinking maybe I should go to the eye doc!!
Praying here that your eye will heal and that exchanging the lens and glasses won't be too much trouble.
Praying Krista! Eye probelms aren't fun! I had to stop wearing contacts for a while because I had calluses on my eyelids. I wear them now if I'm going out, but don't sleep in them. It makes them more tolerable!
Oh Krista! I am so sorry for your eye trouble. My dh had eye trouble awhile back and it can be so difficult and kinda scarey. I will pray for the heath of your eye!
