    Has anybody used these?

I wanted the answers in genesis history, but can't get it here. What I can get is Diana Waring, and since she co-authored the others, I had a look. They look the same, practically. And I can get those here.

So what I want to know is.....

    1. What did you think of it?
    2. Do I need to get the teacher manual? I was thinking we could probably just use the student text & CD's.

    Thanks in advance

I was interested in this a while back, and sent an e-mail asking about it. I got no response, so I gave up on it.

    Ditto

I was going to order her stuff for next year. I would love to hear what some one else thinks of it.

She has world history, divided into 3 parts - creation to Christ (ancient); middle ages (Christ to Napoleon); modern (Napoleon to 1960's).
You can see it here: http://www.dianawaring.com/www/index.html

    Surely someone has used it??

did you check the free sample of the teacher books?
They have it laid out for you in day to day what to do etc! Talk about organised!

Yeah I did. When I looked at the student manual though, most of it was in there anyway. And I rarely use things that tell what day to do what. So that's why I was thinking of just getting the student manual - and of course $$$.
What I liked about it was that it seemed to combine chronological history with a unit study approach.

thats always good> I like things that group stuff together organized like. I am finding tht with my chooseing curics, I seem to look twice at things tht give a good outline for me, that can also be 'it' during those weeks that I am busy , before Ladies retreats, etc.. so then I can now my child is doing good work, qualified and learning, while I do my work.

I looked at it at a hs conference and I talked to Diana Waring. I really liked it but for some reason I never took the plunge. It looked really good though.
