To jet off on my own and stop buying prepackaged Curriculum?

I have been using My father's world since I started homeschooling years ago. I love the program. i have always tweaked it a bit to fit my kids needs. This year though as I get ready to buy next years cur. (always use tax return) I am sitting here looking at other curr. and thinking I want to do this and that and this..LOL. I can't seem to commit to only one. I want a mis-match of a couple of different ones. At the same time I have been so spoiled with ready made lesson plans that I am a bit afraid to go out on my own.
    What do you all think?

GO FOR IT!!! If you already do a lot of "tweeking", you'll find it isn't that much different. Just try to get curriculums that don't take a lot of prep time.

Give it a try and if it doesn't work out, you can always go back to what you are currently doing.:D

I feel if you use your current curr or venture out to something else, you will still be providing your children with an excellent education.

The boxed curr as some refer to them by are still very good curriculum. The one we use is very good and successful, that is why they offered it to homeschoolers in addition to their private school.

Sarah, do you have any ideas what you would like to use or do?
This was so exciting for us, when we started pulling away from the boxed curriculum. Now I mix, match and scramble up my own.
You know something? I am excited for you!!!!:D
