I'm so sorry to hear this. To think that she just wanted to do what was best makes it so sad. I, too, had the surgery 2 1/2 years ago. It went well, but I am not diligent about taking vitamins, and sometimes I wonder if I'm not more fatigued because of it. It would be interesting to know exactly what happened, because it is a scary decision to make for anyone considering it.
