How to unshrink clothes

A friend of mine told me this secret, and I ended up trying it on my favorite cotton shirt that my husband dried in the dryer by accident.

You take your shrunken clothing item and soak it in a sinkful of hair conditioner and cold water. It can be the cheap kind. Then you rinse the item and wash it per usual (taking care to wash it on cold and not dry it of course!)

The conditioner relaxes the shrunken fiber in the shirt, much like it conditions hair.

It unshrunk my shirt! It totally works! I just thought I'd pass it on!!

That is interesting!! Will have to try it. Losing weight would be another option I just don't think it will help with the length. LOL Thanks for sharing!
