Everything is ordered and on the way! FINALLY!

YEAAAAAAAAAH! Okay I know I should have the hang of this after 11 years but hey, things happen! Baseball, baseball coaching, swimming lessons, vbs vbs and kids camp to name a few things hahah!
We have all of dds SOS, plus MUS ordered or here.
Ds is getting his STOW and tomorrow I pick up the Math from the store, they were holding the books for me I hope its still there!
Then we have Art lesson books.. forget the name. But it teaches from basics to details, shadings etc. That will be first half of the year, then the second half will be painting with acrylics, I can teach that first hand.

Ordered Learning to study the Bible for kids, Kay Arthurs book for bible study for ds,
and Bible study from LIfe Way the one I mentioned before for dd

Ds will have GC science then Life Pak and SOS to finish the year.
if his stuff does not get here in time we will do Life Pak left overs from brother and sister for starting school!
I am ready to start putting my lesson plans together. Did it in my mind tonight, was imagining how I will write what extra books to add in where..
Even found the town that goes with Our Town that dd has to read for Lang arts 11 sos this year! Weee! She will be able to make some paper dollrs or something to act out the play!
I am anticipating writing this stuff up... hoping I can do it before school starts,
have to plan in a feild trip to the beach and have them collect stuff for crafts for History stuff, castles need sand!

Well my homeschool tracker and homeschool.org both say the 2nd is first offical day, thats the day I hand out the lessons go over the 'class rules' remind them of when and where we do school work.. where it goes after,we are done etc... I like school to be put away after work is done so its not like we are doing it all the time other wise it looses its excitement fast around here!
I have new plans this year I have an IN Out and Grade Me box set. So they will put paper work and notebooks in the boxes and I will pass them out that way when I am busy with other things.

Today we have to run to pick up the two Horizon Math Student books for ds, I hope they did not put them back on the shelf yet!
I have to get my running around done as I am not sure how fast the mail will bring my stuff.
I am also looking forward to it coming because I am taking ds6th grade math work out of the book and putting them into a binder with weekly tabs!
Then he can see his week at a glance and know he could finish it early if he worked a bit longer on some extra work.
Especially in the first month of school its all review for him and he will glide through school.
we do school really starting on the 3rd, the second we go to the movies after getting the stuff set up.
Not sure what is playing this year though... last year it was Ratatoulie I think and I got grossed out by being in the rottenest room of the movie theater so we may go to a newer one! there was a mouse , a real one in the room!

What a relief to have that done. I thought I had everything ordered, but I realized yesterday that I didn't.

Have to add that I went to pick up the books I had on hold... really neat.. they were gone!
I was like, oh man now what..have to order it after all, she said three days or so... I thought great more gas money!
Standing there while she looked it up told me how much it would be etc, I wandered around in between and prayed "Lord I just feel like those books are here let me find them let me see them,"
Standing at the register ready to pay the order fee, I glanced around behind the counter and saw a plastic box sitting on the floor... she was looking for the books online asking what they were like, if I wanted just the student books etc.. and I saw HORIZON MATH book I was about to say Just like that right there.. started to got as far as "Just like.. HEY THATS THEM!"
they all laughed and said that is so funny that someone put them in the wrong spot!
And I had a good eye to see it !
I got his books yeaaaaaaaaaah!
Ds17 will do Sos at his new private school too ( Church school basically home schooling at church in class room with a teacher who can help him with PHysics and such..
90 percent sure!

I love the movie story. We were in the theater waiting for the movie to start and I saw a tiny mouse on the floor. I watched it run to the back row and just sit there in front of a lady and three girls. I got up and walked over to the woman. I said, "I don't want to scare you but there is a mouse on the floor in front of you guys." As soon as the words were out of my mouth all four of them jerked their feet up into their seats. The manager and another guy tried to scoop it into a dust pan using a broom but it got away. It was so funny watching them chase after it.
