Dead Sea Scrolls in Philly

The Dead Sea Scrolls are coming to the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia. I wish we were closer; I'd LOVE to go see them, but don't think it will be possible with Rachael starting college. We went there a few years back to see King's Tut Treasure. Deena and some others met up with us, and we had a lovely time!

How far are you????

We live in a suburb of Philly, glad to know they're coming, i think we'll have to plan a trip this summer if they're here. We did not get to King Tut b/c my youngest was too young when it was here....but....

Wow....I'd love to know if anyone's traveling out to do it! Maybe I'd try to meet up with you all!!!

I'd love to come, but can't this year. I'm in central Ohio; we could come and camp (which is what we did when we saw King Tut), but tickets are expensive, plus the cost of camping, etc., and we've got college to pay for next year.

We saw the Dead Sea Scrolls in San Francisco about 18 years ago. My husband and I were just dating and he took me to see them. Of course we were more interested in each other than the scrolls! Would love to see them again when I'm not so distracted!!

We are in Philadelphia, and members of the Franklin Institute. I can't wait for this exhibit next month! If anyone else plans to go, I'd love to meet up with you. We are definitely going to this one. The King Tut exhibit was fabulous. We actually saw it for free because the museum has free community nights monthly and they handed out free passes while we were there...I was so excited!
