Please keep our 19 year old daughter in your prayers. She is having a tough time right now and may be moving back home with us soon. She doesn't want to but has nowhere else to go. Please keep all our family in your prayers. If she does move back home it may take a while for the other kids to adjust. She left against our wishes and they know that. Thanks. Beth

I'm not sure of the circumstances surrounding her leaving or coming back home, but I couldn't help but think of the parable of the prodigal son in every aspect of your prayer request. Praying for you--and your other children--to exemplify the loving enthusiasm the father in the parable showed to have his son come back to him. :)

Brooke, I was thinking yesterday that this is VERY much like the prodigal son only in this case, she didn't have the ahh ha moment and decide to come home. Boyfriend's daddy told his son to take her back to NC. The dad is sick of the drama I think.

Yes is twilll take time for all to adjust but you all are a strong family and I am sure things will work out.
Sometimes the hardest thing for us to let them go and try and when they are out see they can't do and want to come back home.

:( Praying for you, her, the other kids. Praying her aha moment happens, it will make her more grateful for the chance she's getting.

Thank you for your prayers. Crystal called again and the boyfriend and his dad pretty much ignore her when they are home. The dad told her to start packing her things even though it is a week before they leave. Boyfriend is driving her back home in her car and he is going to visit his mom who lives in NC and then he is going back on a bus. Crystal said his dad planned this. It is so hard not to just go get her but if she is ever going to learn we feel like we have to wait this one out. She has not asked us to come get her so we just wait. I have such mixed emotions about her coming here. I need to see her and know that she is healthy and safe but I do not want the drama that she is fond of starting up. She is not going to like the rules here after she gets home. We have never had to have a lot of rules but that is about to change. She will be 20 soon so she isn't going to enjoy what I have in mind. But that is okay. I am not her friend. I am her mama.

The drama never ends and it is starting to get to me. My doctor said my blood pressure was up yesterday when I went for a physical. It hasn't been high in a very long time so I was not happy to hear that. I try not to stress over everything but it is so hard. Please continue to pray for us.

I have not talked to Crystal today but the boyfriend's dad called to say he was going to pick up the new radiator for her car that she had to have to be able to get home. We had to pay for it but he said he can put it on for her. I am so worried about her mental health. Freddy and I have talked to Emily, our 14 year old, and told her to be very careful and not let her sister take advantage of her. Em is very tender hearted and will fall for the tears and sob stories that are sure to come. Crystal told me last night that she wants to work things out with boyfriend even though they are fighting and he wants her gone. His dad says they cannot be together because they can't get along. She just can't seem to let go. I am praying she will come home and get her act together.
