We've been kind of just taking it day to day; reading the Bible and talking about it, but I'd like to do something more formal. He did a cute, interactive online one but has run out of lessons. What would you recommend for a kindergartener? I don't mind paying, though free/cheaper is always better, but don't want to pay for something that isn't good. He loves learning about the Bible, I just don't know which to choose. There are so many options out there! I appreciate your help!

We have started with the Kindergarten bible study with Christian Liberty Press called Studying God's Word book A. We are doing it as a family and we are planning on going up in the grades as we complete them. All of my kids from 6 to 12 are enjoying it as well as my husband and I. It isn't too pricey either which makes it nice.

Great question! Right now, we use a Family reading Bible in the evening, but I would like to do more with my K student during the day. I'm glad for these suggestions too!

We are also using Christian Liberty Press's K book, for dgs, although he's in first grade. I have a large collection of Bible story coloring books, so I can give him two or three different pictures to color for each story. Moses, I have more, but then it's a long story. This week it's Gideon, then on to King Saul! The story page gives the chapters/verses with the title, so we read it from his Adventure Bible, or Egermeier's, or NIV, and then read it again out of the story book as a kind of review, and have him write the answers to the few little questions at the end.

We are using my sons "Seek & Find" ESV Bible. It is excellent! It has the Bible stories throughout the entire Bible and the stories are 1-2 pages, at the end it asks questions about the story and gives a key Bible verse. If you want to look up the "key Bible verse" you can and it is already highlighted in the Bible. The stories also include where you can find the story in the Bible. It has been perfect!

I might go to my local Christian book store this evening and see what they have. I like the Seek & Find Bible idea and several of the ones online looked really good too. I think I'll just go browse and see what they've got, if anything. Thanks for all the recommendations! I have looked up each and every one.

I'm using a book I purchased from Currclick.com called Bible Story Puzzles. It includes a scripture reading for every activity.
