I was wondering if anyone uses the "Little Hands to Heaven" book for ages 2-5? If so , please share your thoughts on it. Do you like it? Do you actually stick with it? Do your little ones like it?

I have always been curious about HOD.

    Thanks in advance!

I used it when I was running my home daycare. It was really easy to use for morning circle and table time with my assortment of 10 preschoolers including at that time my two youngest. I did modify it to what would work with my group. (Kept some things, eliminated others).
It's been a few years, so my memory is a bit fuzzy on all the details. However, the one thing I did different that the kids absolutely loved was making an Alphabet book for each child. For each letter page, I had the kids trace it but also added stickers/drew pictures that correlated with the letter sound. I then saved all the pages till they'd done all 26. Then each page was put in a sheet protector before being put in a 3-ring binder. Each child's book was labeled and they then had their own alphabet book to keep. It cost about $3.00 for each child, but they and their parents loved it. My own boys still dig it out three years later to look at it!
I didn't use HOD after that point, but it was a wise investment for that time period. I know of others who've used it for all elementary years and enjoyed it. Hopefully someone else here can give us more feedback.

I used the program with my little ones when they were ages 3ish to 5ish age range. My son didn't like the hand movements like his sister. They both enjoyed the Singing Bible and still have their bibles from when we did the program. They are now 6 and 7.
It really is easy to open and go and the hands on activies were fun. My oldest even played with them when we acted out bible stories. We didn't make a ABC book but we did make posters with letters on them. I really enjoyed Little Hands To Heaven. I tried the one after that, Little Hearts For His Glory and it bombed. It just didn't flow with us and my son only liked Reddy Fox and the other animal stories. I have used Beyond, Bigger and Preparing. I have moved onto My Father's World because with HOD I'd have to do three curriculums at once. With MFWs it's only one with phonics/learning to read for my younger ones. If my next child is of preschool age and is ready for school I would like to buy Little Hands and use it with him/her.

Thank you! I have a friend on Curriculum Share who said I could borrow hers. I think I might do it w/ my toddler this fall. Your feedback was helpful!
