Hi everyone! I haven't been on this forum in ages since I had to give up homeschooling, but I knew the parents here would probably be the best ones to answer my question. It seems I've seen software before that was geared towards children that allowed them to write a story, insert original illustrations, and print the pages in such a way that you'd have the large 11 X 17 in. paper that could be folded and stapled in the middle just like a paperback picture book. (The pages would be double-sided and the software properly arranged which pages needed to print where). I'm having a hard time finding software with these features. Any recommendations?
I found a couple of options for you: http://www.blurb.com/ - You lay out the book online, but then you have to purchase it from their company. http://www.google.com/products/cata...ult&ct=result&resnum=4&sqi=2&ved=0CDcQ8wIwAw# - Sorry for the long link, hope it works. It is an actual software that you can purchase for $30. It's called "Desktop Publishing Suite 2009" for PC. You would have good results if you Google this: Desktop Publishing Software. Check for software on these sites: www.adobe.com www.corel.com www.lotus.com www.intuit.com www.macromedia.com www.microsoft.com
Thank you!! I wasn't even coming close to finding what I was looking for on Google using the search prompts I was using. I'll check out your links and search "desktop publishing". I appreciate the info!
