As a part of my B.Ed. (Physical Education) I'm required to complete a certain study.
I chose to compare the family climate of home-schooling familiy, claiming its better than "normal" families.
I need families (parents and children capable of doing so) to fill a questionaire (is that word miss-spelled?).
Your names need not be added as part of the questionaire.
Any willing parents are invited to use my Email: along1111@hotmail.com
Any person I send the questionnaire to has no obligation sending it back filled.
I thank all those willing to help me :)

I'm afraid we wouldn't qualify, because homeschooling families ARE "normal" families. I might be willing to answer your questions if you were to send it to me as a PM.

LOL @ the normal comment. My mothers biggest concern is that Sami will feel "abnormal" because she is HSed. I laugh when she says that because if I look around at all the kids Sami knows.. She knows about 35 HS kids and about 5 who go to public school. The number of Homeschooling families is growing so fast that it won't be long till people are worried about the poor abnormal kids who's parents send them away to public school! ;)

Yep, we're normal here, too! I'd be glad to fill one out for you. I did a similar study for my Experimental Psych. class in college, except I compared traditional vs. non-traditional families. I'd be interested in the results. Pm the questionaire to me.

    I apologize for any mis-understandings :)

Writing "normal" with " was on porpuse :)
People are sending their children to school, thinking they are know what is best. This point of view states that THEY are the normal. In this forum, all people know who really are the normal ones :)
My study's objective was chosen carefully.
I thank you all again for the comments and the help.
Just one more thing, I need to transfer the questionnaire to a pdf file. I need access to the right place. so far I didnt have this access, but it could be any day. I appreciate ur patience.

Can I ask what this has to do with Physical Education? Or is it a different class.

    Very good question :)

Physical education consists of more than sports courses. This study, on the other hand, is directly related to physical education. Physical education is a part of every school children's lives. This B.Ed. grants me the diploma I need to teach at school. Home-schooling is all about school, but this one is home-based.
I hope you have your answer :)

I guess what I am asking is what "class" is this actually for. Your major is "physical education" right? I went to college myself, so I understand. But what "class" is this study for? You made it seem like this is for a physical education class, which I don't understand how that fits in with it.

I apologise for any problems I may have caused.
I thank you for the patience. I appreciate it.

Anyone willing to answer the questionnaire can send me Email (or contact me in any other way).

An answer for JenPooh and the questionnaire sent

First of all I deeply thank all the patient people. I sent the questionnaire, but I'm afraid I made mistakes. I may have missed some people by mistake. I'm sorry if I did. Please send me Email or PM in case it happened.

JenPooh, the class is called: "School and Familiy". That class is rarely taken by anyone because this is a "study class". We learn very little and do the hard work ourselves. We are obliged to take 2 of this kind of class for our B.Ed.
My study is extremely rare since school is only mentioned indirectly. The studies for this class usually focus on school.
I hope that answers the question :)
I will try to log on more, even though the test are very near :(
