My daughter is enrolled in Penn Foster online High school http://www.pennfoster.edu/index.html?semkey=Q092365 I am VERY happy with them. The cost to enroll is reasonable! About $930 total, all four years! Books included! As she finished exams in one class, the books are sent out for the next class. It is very self-guided, so teens HAVE to be self motivated but it is accredited and you can pay monthly (I pay $37.00) or all at once. Getting started is a bit complicated because of forms that need to be filled out, but it isnt that bad and I bet you can fax them if you call them. Any way if you want a good online high school, check it out!

Yes, all grades are kept for you! Parents can check exam grades by simply clicking on exam results. Exams can be taken online or mailed in. My daughter starts reading and taking notes on all lessons (all books are online as well!) before her books get here, than reads the books and takes the exams in the book, where I than check them. Next, she inserts the answers into the online exam and submits them, she gets her grade immediatly! Most classes are core, with about 5 electives at the end, many electives to choose from! Child care to auto care! When shes finished the whole thing she will get her diploma from them. Since enrolling we have received pamplets from many colleges interested in her! Good luck!
If you are interested I can email you a list of what classes are required, one more thing, the classes are not easy, and require the student to study but there is no time limits on the exams that I know of.
