Please remeber me in prayer. I have posted before about my back problem. Last night, (well @ 4:00 am - 8:00 am ) I had to go to the ER. I have been sick for the past week and then as last night progressed my back completely went out. I can hardly move at all. I am once again on complete bed rest. (HA...as if I could get up...lol) The pain is so bad that no injection that they gave me would help it. Because of the pain level my usually normal blood pressure is up (176／117). In addition to my back, when they examined me (and after x-rays) they discovered that I have Pneumonia and a Kidney infection. So.....if anyone could send a prayer up for me, I could really use it! Ack! Well, at least you got all the diagnoses out of the way all at once I'll certainly be praying for you. That's a lot to deal with.
Could the kidney problem be causing the back pain? I know stones are EXTREMELY painful, and perhaps the infection is exacberating things for you.
I'm sure the kidney infection isn't helping, but it isn't the cause of the pain. I have problems with 3 of the discs in my back, that's the source of the pain. Normally, it isn't this bad and I can control it with meds. Every now and again, if I have walked more than usual, this happens. LR
Thank you everyone for praying. I really appreciate it! No change today. Having difficulty breathing due to the Pneumonia. Thankfully the cough med. kept me from coughing continuously last night. I am still flat on my back. I'm having difficulty moving my legs, which makes it rather comical to see me "race" for the bathroom, thanks to the kidney problem....lol. I have cracked my children up a few times. My kids have been great! My middle dd taught my youngest how to cook home made fried chicken last night. So proud of my girls and how they are working together to get things done. Thankfully, I have my iPod touch, so I can still visit here at The Spot! Of course, with all the narcotics that I am taking what I type may come out a little loopy. Oh well......"Lucy" always was a little loopy! ;-) Again, thanks for remembering me in prayer. If anyone reads this tonight, PLEASE say a prayer for me. I hate to sound like a whiner..... But, I don't know when I have hurt so badly, am in such intense pain tonight. The Oxy. isn't helping and neither is heat applied. My temp. is staying between 103 & 104. One bright spot, I am breathing easier. Thank the Lord.
