Am I the only one who as not ordered curriculum yet? I tend to wait until last weeks before ordering. This gives us time to see where we are since we year round school.
We never order all at once as we buy as we need For ex: we may go through 2 sets of MUS in the year, or finish spelling book in 6 months....so its easier just to buy as we need.
We are only partly ordered, we are waiting on sales and deals still... just our CBD stuff cause it had a special deal price on some of them...
Around here, the local Targets and Walmarts all begin selling the regular school supplies the week after the fourth of July.... Whoo Hooo Crayons!
If it is consolation, after some of the freebies we've found and have been listed recently, I'm really regretting a couple of my decisions to buy!!!
I bought mostly used when it came up for sale, so that I could get it before everyone else wanted it! We buy a good chunk for the beginning of the school year (though we do math through the summer part-time), then buy as needed throughout the year.
Oh man. Not here. I have to get through VBS first. I havent even sat down and figured out what I need yet. Oh, I havent even sent in my intent form yet!:shock:
Not here. I ordered all my stuff already. Matter of fact I just got the last of our books 2 days ago. Now I'm just putting together my binder (resources, lesson plans, grade book etc...). We'll be starting back up here the first week of August.
I'm happy I KNOW what I'd like for next year. We need to wait till the end of the month to order. I'd REALLY like to find the MUS second hand as it's our first year with it and we will need a few different levels to get everyone up to par.
I just got the last of mine today. I got alot off ebay or yahoo groups. The rest was on sale through the end of June. So what I couldn't get used, I purchased by end of sale. I saved quite a bit this year!
How is this for ordering...I have ordered, sold, and started reordering. This has been a hectic few months with regards what to do.
I haven't ordered yet. Waiting on dh's bonus in the next few weeks. Iam not stressed about it...it will come in plenty of time.
I use different things bases on what we are learning. with math I plan on using saxon again next year and with everything else its usually a few different options depends on madison's mood those days. next year is 2nd grade, its gonna change a bit for her..
