Teacher tells parents they've been Punk'd

I found this blog article (http://www.taylortheteacher.com/2007/12/30/you-got-punkd-an-open-letter-to-american-parents/) by an American teacher very interesting. Nothing he says is really new to the homeschooling parent, but having a teacher say it was rather refreshing.

Edited to add: My computer crashed just as I was about to edit this the first time. There is some slight language in this article. Now, if memory serves, it's just one word used one time. I guess I'm saying this guy is being pretty dang blunt.

I don't think OP was saying there was a plug for homeschooling. I think she simply said that there is nothing new for the homeschooling parent, but that it is a good read.

It is an ongoing discussion, really, about the state of government schools. That's all. Good read.
