Emma's friend came over today. I served them there lunch and Ems started to pray. Her friend looked at her like she was weird and said, "What are you doing?"
Ems said, "Thanking God for my food. We should always be thankful for what we have."

I am so proud of her for not being embarrassed to say this to her friend. I am also pleased that I did not initiate the prayer. She felt the need to do it herself.
