I'm so exicted I have to share this with you all since many of you have been praying for us in many ways.
Today was the first baptisms in our new Sanctuary (we never had a baptistery before, we used to go to the lake for baptisms). ANYWAY, Christian and Andrew had expressed an interest last sumer to be baptised. When push came to shove I didn't feel it was the right time for either of them because Andrew struggles so much and Christian shows no interest in trying to live a christian life. I failed to tell the pastor this...
Anyway, they were having a session in the sanctuary before church this morning and they were frantically looking for me - they even ran out to the car when I pulled in. I went to our senior pastor and asked his opinion on what to do. In the end, Andrew chose to be baptised - wanting so much to do it so he did. I had to call home to get my husband to bring a change of clothes for Andrew (because when we went we weren't planning n Andrew being baptised). His cousin brought the change of clothes to us (so Dad missed it).
I called mom afterwards to tell her - she would have liked to have been here for it, but it was somewhat of a surprise for us.
And today, has been an amazingly good day for Andrew with his behaviour. Please pray that this will continue.
