Hi,
To some of you, this may sound silly, so I'll give you some background. Growing up, my family had a hard time getting pets that didn't have problems. Over the years, we had a dog with addison's, a dog with epilepsy, a dog that had mental problems, a dog who wouldn't eat during the summer, a cat with e-coli, a horse with skin cancer, and a horse that had a brain tumor and diabeties. Needless to say, my mom would take them to the vet and get the medical attention they needed and we spent alot of money over the years on meds for our animals.
Well, fast forward to now. My parents finally decided to get a dog. They got this really cute, but big, dog that they named Dandy. She is really sweet, and she's great with kids. She is five months old and she's had a reoccuring bladder infection. Now, that infection has turned into an antibotic resistant form of E-coli. They have her on meds, but arn't sure they will work, and they could wind up having to put the dog down. On top of that, she too may have epilepsy.
If you could please pray for my mom. She is taking this really hard. She doesn't want the dog to suffer, but she also really loves her, so she is very sad. Please pray that no matter what happens, if they have to put the dog down, that my mom will have peace over it. Also. please pray for comfort for my mom. She loves animals, and it's really starting to make her sad.
Again, I know that their are lots of you out there with much bigger problems, but if you send up a prayer, I'd appreciate it.
