I have no clue what I'm cooking tonight. Usually I know by now but my brain won't allow me to plan anything. What are you guys having?

I've been inspired!!! Thank you.
I'm going to do chicken with broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots with pasta in an alfredo sauce.
Hmmm, what to call it?
SoonerMama, what is Chicken, Broccoli Divan?

It is chicken and broccoli with broccoli cheese soup and cheese and you serve it with rice. I will put up the recipe tonight if you want!

Gymnastics tonight SO, it will either be left overs (yes, my dad gave us some ribs to bring home, yummy) or we'll go out somewhere.
If hubby gets stuck at work and can't get home in time, I take all the kids to the gym and we eat at Wendy's or something really cheap on the way home.

I took out chicken. That's as far as I got. I have no idea what I'll turn it into though. The broccoli, cheese thing sounds good.

sounds good to me.. How did house hunting go for you all? Did you sell you place yet OhioG.?

Didn't sell the place yet, might rent it out, have someone interested. We did talk with a realtor today and he is excited to list it. He is talking about having walk throughs and open houses, something the other one never did.
We did look at a house that looks promising and one that was way tooooooo much work. Another one tomorrow to look at and then we will get the rest of this one ready to rent or sell.
I told dh I would like to be moved by Sept. Our credit is excellent so that will not be a problem and there are lots of houses for sale in our price range. The realtor printed out 50 of them today. That is just in the little town dh works in. Hoover Company is the big job provider in our area and it is going to another country, and the housing market is down, people are selling like crazy.

We are having this casserole thingy that has green beans, ground beef, potatoes and cheese. It doesn't have a name. I think my mom made it up when I was a kid.

We had Cheeseburger Sloppy Joe. I no longer have the recipe, but you cook a quantity of hamburger. I usually use 2 pounds. Add 1/2 loaf Velveeta and allow to melt . Stir together with ketchup, mustard and pickle relish as desired. You can add onion and whatever else you'd put on a cheeseburger. My son and husband lap this up and there's never any left.

Tonight I am cooking pork chops & onions in olive oil, roasted potatoes, sauted carrot/brocolli veggie dish and homemade cornbread muffins.
The muffins have become a favorite since I began making them last week. They are requested at almost every meal! Friday I taught Samantha how to make them and she made them all by herself. Tonight will be Grace's turn to do it. Of course I will help her - she's only 4!

well, we got invited over to the neighbor's house for dinner...and I don't know WHAT we are having....
I'm scared about it.....it's not very often that we get invited to people's houses for dinner....I don't even think I remember the last time we were (meaning outside of family)
I made brownies to take for dessert though.
