I'm making cinnamon rolls this morning.
2 loafs frozen bread dough, thawed out, rolled out to large rectangle about 1/4 inch thich or less.
spread softened butter
mix brown sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over butter. cut rolls about 1 1/2 inches and put in sprayed 9X13 pan. Roll up. Bake at 350 until golden brown.
Topping: if you want the kind with nuts and caramel sauce like then you put a stick of butter in the pan and melt in the oven BEFORE you add the rolls along with 1 cup brown sugar and chopped pecans or walnuts (If I make it this way I use white sugar in the middle instead of brown sugar)
for the white icing kind, mix 1/2 stick butter with 3 oz. cream cheese (if you have it) with enough powdered sugar (about 2-3 cups) and 1 t. vanilla and a little milk (about 3 T.) in blender, or food processor until you have that creammy frosting spread over inverted cinnamon rolls after they have cooled about 5 minutes.

Deanna, I had my frozen bread rolls in the fridge over night.
I also forgot to metion that they are best when you let them rise a little after you put them in the pan.
I make the kind with the creammy frosting because not all the kids like nuts but I love the ones with nuts and the caramel on top.

your welcome, I used to use a 90 minute recipe but this is even easier and I've lost the recipe for the other one.

I wanna share!
I looove making cinnamon rolls!
I make a double white bread batch of dough.
One half is used to make 1 large or two smaller loafs of regular white bread.
The other half is for the cinnamon rolls.
(So however youget your bread dough... start with that..)
After the first rise and beat down, I seperate the half that is to be used for the rolls.
I flatten it out with my rolling pin into a rectangle.
OOOh! I use my rolling pin in baking1 hahahaha~! From another thread.. nevermind....
Slather it with butter.
Spread a cinnamon and sugar mixture LIBERALLY over the butter.
Then roll up that rectangle, like rolling up a carpet.
Then I take dental floss (UNFLAVORED!!) Or baking thread and I slide the thread UNDER the roll.
I bring each side of the thread up on each side of the dough, cross it over and pull!
This cuts perfect cinnamon rolls, and I simply take that one, just cut, and lay it down on the pan, then cut he next one.
I bake at a lower heat, like 300 until golden brown (I never watch the clock, sorry) The reason for the lower seting is to allow the outside to remain relatively UNCHARED while the inside is allowed to cook thouroughly.
They come out HUUUGE and the texture is like FLUFF!
I have photos...
Looking for them, will post when I find them.
It is raining AGAIN today for the 20th strait day.... I think I will make some today!

That's how I do it too. It's a great trick.
