Prayer request

Most of you know that my daughter has ADHD and ODD. She is really having an emonational time right now. She is only 6 years old. She has at least one big break down with crying and crying everyday. Most of the time it is two times a day. You can look at her and she breaks down. They have her on Ritalin and Clonidine. She was also on Zoloft. She isn't on that anymore. She is also having a horrible time sleeping. She doesn't want to go to sleep at all. I feel so sorry for her. I would really appreciate your prayers. She goes back to the doctor Wednesday (22). I pray something will give and help her out. Thanks in advance for your prayers.

I am praying for Vicki. She does act so much better now but I wonder if it is due to her age instead of meds. I will pray for you all. love ya

Praying here, too. My son has battled emotional issues and mis-diagnosed ADHD. He is gifted and highly sensitive and emotions run deep with him. He takes Luvox (fluvoxamine) and ever since his emotions have stabalized. I don't look for him to need it much longer and his doctor checks periodically with the possibility of dropping that med.

I know it is so hard to see your young child breaking down. Remind her of how God is our Creator and our Healer and encourage her to pray as well. Our son's spiritual growth has no doubt been the single greatest "cure" for his emotions.
