My guess is administration and assessment. In other words, not to anywhere it would make a positive difference.

I agree Deena, I can't understand why we don't get the money for our children. I could sure use it.
I know Andy's sister had a handicap child and to keep her out of the home the state paid her to take of her.
Well why don't they pay me for homeschooling my girls?

Oh my wow... I could give all of my kids top of the line educations for just half of that!! That is still bargin shopping like I do, and reselling but still! That is such a waste of my husbands hard earned tax dollars!

Yeah, I'd love some kind of voucher system (but without ANY gov't interference.)

That would be the problem gov't interfence. I could really give Vicki an education with kind of money a year. I just don't the gov't telling me what to do.

The $ goes towards upkeep of buildings and classrooms, paying salaries, administrative costs and of course assessments.
I am in favor of tax incentives for homeschoolers who own homes but I'm not in favor of voucher programs etc. for homeschoolers. LOL--that's very political of me this early in the morning.
And oh my goodness--what I couldn't do with approximately $40,000 per year to educate my kids!
