I see people with "TeacherChat Addict" next to their names when they post. Where is the TeacherChat and can I join it? And are there topics at certain times or just a pop in and visit kind of thing? Lots of love, Carolyn

I'm not 100% sure, but I believe the titles under are names are representative of the number of posts that we've made on the board.
For example, you are new and haven't posted often, so you are referred to as "new member". While some of the veterans who have LOTS of posts are called "Teacher Chat Addicts".

I know my teacherchat addict thing came up after I had gone to www.atozteacherstuff.com a few times. It's all in how many posts you make.

I go to atoz a lot and I've seen that over there, too, by many names. I've been posting mostly in this game they have.

The names displayed are according to the number of posts... The titles actually came from the Forums @ atozteacherstuff.com when I copied all the members to Homeschool Spot. If you can think of something more creative I'll update them!

Right now, this is how it stands, with the minimum number of posts required.

At the other forums, the titles have been changed a bit... the numbers go much higher since it's been around a lot longer. Post all your ideas here.

At first I was put off by the "addict" label, but then it got to be kinda funny.....of course the put off part was the thought that someone else has noticed that I check here every time I log on :oops: .

Thanks so much, Amanda, for the great forums! I'll see if anything brilliant comes to mind to replace the labels, but I think you are doing a fine job.
