Google scare

This is kind of scary: I just now googled homeschool spot, like I always have, and the first item that showed up was the homeschool spot powered by vbulletin, like usual. However, the second item was homeschool spot: view profile Prairie Home. (!!!) Why was I singled out???

Prairie, maybe because it was you that did the search. I just googled homeschool spot and didn't get anything about any specific member. I'm no computer whiz, but maybe that's all it was.

Whew! Thanks for saying that! I wonder what I did to change things. It's the first time out of the (hundreds? thousands?) of times I've visited that Prairie Home showed up!

Praire Home, I goolgled avatars the other day and I was glancing over the items and was thinking " oh, someone else goes by ABall" and I realized it was a link off of the AtoZ board. I meant to mention it the other day and kinda got side tracked with the trip to the hospital!

How does that type of thing make it out onto the web? Does someone have to enter it somewhere? And is there any way to delete it?

I did it too Becky and the front page of homeschool spot came up and nothing else.

Kris and I talked about needing a more private spot where you have to be members invited to join and that would be safer.

Yes, that's what Lorna and I are worried about so many people unidentified, never figure out why? Maybe just looking I don't know.

'Strange! The entry on the Google search that had previously listed Prairie Home's public profile, now lists the thread "Our Local Group in the News!" I wonder if that's a random selection.

I just googled it and got a thread from the "introduction" section from one of our new members. Very weird!
