Last Thanksgiving my grandson, who was six, was eating turkey at our house and looked up at me and said, "Gran, can I have some more of that rooster?" His daddy, my son Matthew, said that I got off lucky. He usually calls it turkey buzzard! That boy!
Okay now, lets hear some more funny or cute stories about our wonderful kids and grandkids. Please??? Beth

Beth, that is so cute. Nothing to funny here that I can think of.

that story kind of reminds me that my DD (9 even) STILL keeps calling pork chicken, chicken pork and other stuff wrong, It hurts my feelings after working so hard on cooking dinner.

THANKSGIVING:
my kids thought they would want the big leg but after getting it they didn't like it (vains and stuff).

I had to learn real fast how to cook thanksgiving dinner the year my grandmother started showing her alhztimers, she invited every one over to her house, but it seams she had forgotten how to cook things like stuffing, I cooked everything that year and it all turned out well.

yes me too, should have posted a warning with it for the tear factor. Also think there are some military wives here.
