We have a bunny family here, too! I will look at the library for books from like, Dorling/ Kindersly(sp?)
I wonder if the Humane Society has anything?

We had one about three or four years back, in the girls' playhouse! They would take big handfuls of grass and "cook" it on the play stove, then just brush it down onto the ground. So there was a BIG pile of pulled grass right there that the bunnies loved. Rachael went out one day, took up a big handful from that pile, and uncovered the babies! And we have a DOG that had the run of the yard!!! (Well, she WAS getting old, but still!) All I know is that if you touch them and they get human scent on them, the mother might ignore them and not take care of them.

I bet that's true, because our momma bunny ran away from her babies once when something scared her. I guess she was trying to make whatever it was leave the babies alone. Animals are so amazing with how they behave.
When we first brought Jeanne home from the hospital our dog was seriously affronted!
It took him a long time for him to even look at her. A few weeks ago, I didn't realize she had gotten coffee cans out of the cabinet and piled them up, and was trying to stand on them. I heard the dog bark this strange bark, then run into the kitchen. Here was Jeanne, getting ready to fall over. I got there just in time to catch her. The dog warned me. He had been noticing her doing something, and I guess he sensed she was scared. He still doesn't fawn all over her, but since then, he's much nicer to her- especially if she has cheese for him.
